The Restaurant @ Clos Malverne Wine Estate
In the words of the great classic Frank Sinatra song - My way, “And now the end is near”, we have finally reached the last month in a year where we have had numerous historic and newsworthy events. From our new President to the nobel prize winner Barack Obama and to the realisation the myth we thought was Global Warming became a fact of life. In a world where wars were not discussed, but rather the economic and financial difficulties that became our every motive and decision on what we decided to do or not to do.

At Clos Malverne we decided to be brave and provide all our loyal Clos Malverne supporters with the absolute tribute in giving them the opportunity to not just taste our wines and experience all we have to offer in the new tasting venue and Spa, but now will also be able to taste some of the fantastic food dishes we offer to tantalize and tease the ultimate culinary delight. After several requests we have decided to open The Restaurant @ Clos Malverne. This will be food that will emphasise our wine styles and characteristics. The menu is compiled by some of Seymour’s and Sophia’s favourite dishes. To do this we ensured that our focus remain as always on top quality. We therefore ensured the services of an award-wining executive Chef, Nadia Louw. In the latter part of this newsletter you will see her vision and her fantastic credentials. I invite you and all your family and friends to visit us for lunch from Tuesdays to Saturdays and experience The Restaurant @ Clos Malverne. Please note that you will also receive a free tasting after your lunch to ensure that you are up to date with all our fantastic new releases, such as our new Clos Malverne Chardonnay 2009 and our brilliant new Sauvignon Blanc 2009 which will be launched during the latter part of the Festive Season.
