The new year... the great year... our year...

So, the year has started and we sincerely hope you all had a fantastic festive season and that this year you will be blessed with heath and lots of good will.

Our tasting room has come to a completion and it has been a great contribution to our brand and our clients alike. We opened in December and had several visitors from all over..We also learnt that ‘word of mouth’ has fantastic value and had many people bring friends for second and even third visits. I must admit that we are very excited about the venue and the great opportunity is offers. We will be hosting intimate dinner parties as well winemaker evenings and then there is just the evenings for some good old fun.

30 January we had our big media launch and it was great. All the ‘who’s-who’ were there and it was a great afternoon with super food and the always satisfying wine. As for the SPA it received many queries and we look forward to the positive response in up coming life style magazines. Talking about the Spa things seem to be going very well and it is great to be able to provide our visitors with a treat for all senses.

Currently we are preparing for our harvest and you can see the excitement in Charl as this will be his second harvest at the helm. Must admit he has become quite the ‘smiley one’ but I think this has something to do with his marriage in January.

The year started off great for Seymour and for me we went to a cold wet Europe to find that our values customers are even enjoying our wines more than years before. The general comment was ‘great quality even better price. We are pleased that even with the word economy being the way it is that we will always provide you with exceptional wine.

The year has just started and we already into the second month of 2009. for those who have not visited us as yet-this is your personal invite, and for all that have been hope to see you again rather sooner than later. Come treat your senses.
